I have taught young children over thirteen years and had the joy of their smiles and laughter filling the classroom. Working so closely beside them formed many special relationships and a connection that gave me a unique look into how they see the world. Storytelling was a big feature in my classroom and something I loved to share with as many children as possible. It brought about the creation of my story chair, made for me by my clever Dad. I set about painting it with colourful story scenes, that children could spot and enjoy. I can see them now, tracing outlines of pictures with little fingers and I am flooded with memories of happy times we shared.
For the last eight years, I have also had the great pleasure of being Mummy to my own two young children and the days filled with requests of 'Mummy can you tell us that one' are music to my ears!
Now, keen to maintain my connection with children, I use these lovely years and experiences combined with my own passion for storytelling to bring you story adventures from Wings of Words. Stepping out of the classroom and into your party!

THE FULL PLATE (45 MINS)- a personalised story package to celebrate your child's birthday. Inclusive of a puppet show, personalised song and a story to match their interests.  

EXTRA TRIMMINGS- I know what it is like to be a busy mum, so if you would like a little less to think about on the day, let me think about it for you!

• Party bags- I love this stuff, so you can expect great goody bags wrapped up and ready to hand out. 

• Sweetie bags- a little selection of sweet tokens for friends to take away and munch in the car.

I'm passionate about baking and doesn't cake always make things better? I can also whip up delicious homemade treats to further sweeten the party....

• My renowned Rocky Road slices. Soft, chewy and sweet, dusted with icing sugar. 

• A delicious birthday traybake fully iced and decorated. Ready to cut up and share when you choose.

• Parent cake- let's not forget about the parents! I'd love to think of you relaxing with a cuppa and a nice slice of something sweet as you watch the show. Homemade and ready to share.
